We provide a range of opportunities for young ex-offenders to be supported back into community life. Education, training, mentoring, personal support and real jobs.
Any young person between the ages of 16 and 25, who has been convicted of an offence, is considered eligible for referral to the following Bridge Project programs.
- Employment - Since 2005 we have successfully found continuing full time employment for 160 young people.
- Indigenous Employment Program - in partnership with job network agency PVS Workfind we help young Indigenous Australians aged 16-25 who have offended or are at risk of offending.
- Education and training – in this time we have also trained 974 young people in a wide variety of work related skills.
- Mentoring – every young person who participates receives invaluable mentoring from people who get their issues and understand the barriers they face. This can be the magic ingredient that has the most impact.
If you are from a support agency who would like to refer a client to the program – download the client referral form and email to Bridge Project Manager – Mick Cronin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
