Bunnings Warehouse has generously stepped in to give a helping hand for a new YMCA ReBuild crew member, donating Christmas presents for their child.
The new crew member joined on last week but with his first pay check coming after Christmas, he was concerned they wouldn’t be able to buy presents for his son.
Upon hearing of the dilemma, Bunnings had no hesitation in donating an array of items to ensure the young man’s family had a happy Christmas.
YMCA Bridge Project Manager Mick Cronin thanked Bunnings for the wonderful donation and for their continued support.
“Bunnings has been a valued supporter of Bridge Project and this latest act of generosity is a great example of the different ways in which businesses can positively contribute to their community,” he said.
“Throughout the year, Bunnings has also provided lunch boxes, drink bottles, and hats to YMCA ReBuild crews to assist in promoting a happy, healthy lifestyle for young people at work.”
The new crew member was very grateful for Bunnings’ kind gesture.
“Thanks to Bunnings for doing this, it’s not something they had to do so it’s really great,” he said.
“I really appreciate it and I know my kid will love it.”
